"I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me." - Matthew 25:35-36
The Reformed Church of Shawangunk's Faith in Action committee overseas the Deacons Fund, which is used to help local community members in need. Need is identified through an intake process, such as providing food for families, and providing financial help for fuel bills and other needs.
Other organizations supported by the Church include the Northeast Gateway to Freedom Youth Services (Newburgh, NY) and Heifer International.
The congregation regularly collects food and funds for the food pantries at Wallkill and New Prospect Reformed Churches.

- Collecting canned goods and funds for local food pantries during the "Souper Bowl of Caring"
- Providing Christmas gifts for children around the world as part of Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child
